Join Jamii Linguists on May 31, 2023 for one more FREE Conversation Practice and Open House event for Language & Diaspora programs and activities for language learners. Our last Open House event was big fun, so we're hosting one more before we officially open the doors to the Conversation Club on June 14, 2023.
During the first 30 minutes, we will have interpretation available as we share about upcoming Language & Diaspora events and activities. After that, the interpreters will say “adios” "bye bye" "adeus", "au revoir" and we'll all get a chance to flex our language skillz and chop it up wit other language learners. All Language & Diaspora community spaces are LGBTQ-affirming spaces that center and celebrate the diversity of Black culture and the joy and power of our collective languages.
The language exchange will be for:
(1) Anyone fluent in English and interested in learning Portuguese, French, or Spanish, and
(2) Anyone fluent in Portuguese, French, or Spanish speakers interested in learning English.
