Jamii's Simultaneous Interpreting Clinic is an intensive 4-month experience designed to provide participants with a minimum of 60 hours of real-world interpreting practice. The program curriculum features content designed to enhance vocabulary usage and word choice for language justice work that is culturally responsive to diverse Black, indigenous and queer communities, as well as reflective of our trans, non-binary, and gender-expansive sibs. All participants receive a Certificate of Completion that can be used as a credential to verify their skill set for various job opportunities. And, upon successful completion of the Clinic, participants will be invited to partner with #TeamJamii for paid interpreting assignments.
